Another historical Kinijit town hall meeting was held Sunday, Oct. 28, in Washington DC as Kinijit delegates Wzt. Bertukan Mideksa, Dr Hailu Araya, Ato Gizachew Shiferraw, Ato Brook Kebede and Dr Berhanu Nega concluded their USA tour. The town hall meeting was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, which was full and overfilled into the hall ways.This week, some of the Kinijit delegates will return to Ethiopia, while Wzt. Bertukan will join Kinijit Central Council member Ato Debebe Eshetu in Toronto to start a working visit to several cities in Canada.

The Kinijit delegation to the U.S. participated in a town hall meeting and fund raising event in Minneapolis. The meeting hall that holds 500-600 people was full. A large part of the meeting was dedicated to questions and answer session. Artist Abebe Belew conducted the fund raising event which brought in $20,000

Kinijit leaders Dr Hailu Araya and Ato Brook Kebede have arrived in Denver, Colorado. Several Ethiopians from the Denver Metro Area have received them with flowers and Ethiopian flag at the Denver International Airport. On sunday 21st Oct, at 1:00 pm they will attend a public meeting.

Ethiopians in Munich raise over 11,000 Euro on the Fund-Raising event for kinijit.

13th Oct 2007, Frankfurt, Germany
Kinijit Europe delegation have emphasized what role support Group Ethiopians in diaspora can play and made sure that Kinijit can not be divided and that Kinijit stands firm on its original 8 Preconditions presented to the EPRDF regime. Many ethiopians
have raised suggestions and questions and have received direct face to face response from the elected leaders. The Fund-Raising event was able to raise over 12,000 Euros for kinijit.

The Fund-Raising event took place at Georgia International Convention Center. Ethiopians in Atlanta are able to raise over $64,000 for kinijit.

07th Oct 2007, Frankfurt, Germany
Kinijit European Delegation has arrived in Germany from Switzerlandby Europe Council Tour Bus. They drove over 450 Km through the heart of Europe to Germany. After they arrived near the outskits of Frankfurt, large numbers of joyful Ethiopians have made car chains to escort them from about 50 KM on German Highway to the center of Frankfurt.

Ethiopians in Los Angeles rais over $55,000 at a Kinijit town hall meeting on Sunday.

Ethiopians in Seattle made history in the past two days by turning out in massive numbers to welcome Kinijit leaders and raising a total of $65,700 for the party.

Kinijit Delegates in Europe arrived in Vienna, Austira on 02 Oct. 2007. The delegation recived warm welcome at the Vienna Internationa Airport. They have also met with Several government officials in Austria.

The Fund-Raising event in Dallas, TX has raised over $40,000.

30th Sept 2007, Oakland & San Jose, USA
The joint Fund-Raising event organized by Oakland and San Jose Kinijit Support Groups has been a success. They raised more than $52,000 to support the struggle to bring freedom and democracy in Ethiopia.

28th Sept 2007, Sweden
The delegation arrived in Sweden on 24th September 2007and made a short return trip to Finland. On their return they held a public meeting for their supporter in Sweden on 28th September 2007. At the Fund-raising event 131,000 SEK was raised.

26th Sept 2007, Helsinki, Finland
After meeting with Ethiopian in Finland, Kinijit leaders had a fruitful discussions with several authorities in Helsinki, Finland. The delegates had intensive talks with the countries MPs, Ministry of Foreign affairs and Journalists. The country’s popular newspapers had given them intensive coverages too. Finally, they took the boat to Sweden...

The delegation were greeted by warm smiling faces and a poster reading “Welcome our leaders” at the Airport. It was a fantastic experience took place for many Ethiopian who fought hard for their leaders’ release. Also, at Fund-raising event; they were cheered on by enthusiastic supporters.

On a beautiful Saturday night, September 22, 2007, Kinjit and its delegates arrived at an Armenian Church in Cambridge, MA. At this defining moment, the delegates gave a landmark performance to a calm crowd of over two hundred people. This was Kinjit’s rendezvous with victory, fated to announce itself in the next election, if the party disciplines itself and is guided by intelligent visionaries with democratic sensibilities.

22nd Sept 2007, Oslo, Norway
The wider Ethiopian public and friends of Ethiopia were campaigning and protesting
to bring about the release of the CUDP leaders and all political prisoners in Ethiopia.
Thus, the public meeting was arranged to offer the delegation an opportunity to thank
Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia, explain the objectives of their mission and
exchange opinions and views with the wider public. Norway raises over $16,000 for Kinijit.

16th Sept 2007, Washington DC
Thousands of Ethiopians attended on Sunday a public meeting in Washington DC with Kinijit leaders. The meeting is organized by Kinijit D.C. Metro chapter and is the first of it's kind. Ethiopians pledged considerable amount dollars of $131,000.00 (Hundred thirty thousand dollar).

Town Hall Meeting for 500 guests at Acton Town Hall. The discussion with the general public was so free and open, even well known supporters of the tyrannical regime of Woyane were allowed to join the audience and to raise questions prepared for them by the Woyane ideological command centre.
